Professor Tom Holub Launches a New Book supporting Madison Schools
Dr. Tom Holub, a Professor in the School of Education at Edgewood College, has published a soft sided, table book of local interest. The book, Madison's Schools: A Photojournalistic Tribute hosts photos of all of Madison's public and private schools, and includes a positive quote/ tribute relating to each building. The book serves two purposes; 1) It is a fund raiser ($15) to support the school outreach that Tom conducts and, 2) The author felt that our schools were currently in turmoil and that promoting the positive work that takes place would benefit many. The book can be ordered via tholub@edgewood.edu, and is available in the Edgewood College Bookstore. A formal book launch was held at Edgewood College on 12/14/11. Purchasing a book supports school outreach projects and honors the great work being done in our city's schools! |

Let's Do Lunch!
We just "Lunched" with TDS Corporate and Agrace HospiceCare, Inc.
Agrace Hospice Care Lunch (top) and TDS Corporate Lunch (bottom) |
In November we took lunch to TDS Corporate headquarters in the WI Trade Center followed by Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. in Fitchburg. Along with alumni employees at both, we also invited current students so they too could connect and talk about their "Edgewood College" experience. President Dan Carey enjoyed both lunches, providing great dialogue about new programs, our national recognition and overall College growth. An informal atmosphere and lively conversation ensued about favorite alumni experiences and ways to stay involved and connected. |
What about your company? Do you have a group of alumni co-workers? Let us bring lunch to you in 2012. Email or call me (608-663-6715) if you would like to be a part of our "Let's Do Lunch Campaign." |
