Study Opportunities for Undergraduate Students

AP and IB Credit

Students who have completed one or more Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) courses in high school and have taken the corresponding exams are encouraged to forward scores to the Academic Dean’s Office. Edgewood College grants college credit to students who have successfully completed AP and IB exams.

Honors Program

The Edgewood College Honors Program gives talented, motivated students opportunities in and out of the classroom to achieve their academic potential.

Study Abroad

Edgewood College encourages all students to have an experience abroad during their undergraduate studies. The William H. Young Center for Global Education is prepared to work with you to develop a personalized plan of study. In general, a study abroad experience can be short term or long term. Imagine yourself on a one-week excursion to Cuba, two weeks volunteering in India, or maybe an entire semester in Italy or Australia. Such a semester abroad could be with an Edgewood faculty member or in cooperation with a number of colleges and universities throughout the United States. There are many possibilities for the semester aboard experience in regard to country, language, major and costs.

UW Collaborative Program

Edgewood's Collaborative Program with the University of Wisconsin not only allows students to take specialized courses to complement the selection offered at Edgewood, but also gives Edgewood students access to the UW libraries -- a special advantage because of the scope and quality of their collections.
