Local Coffee House Makes ‘Change’ for Sustainability

Madison, Wis. (April 17, 2012) – To mark Earth Day in a very special way, Madison’s Redamté Coffee House will be hosting a celebration and fundraising event – CHANGE -  to support scholarships for the Sustainability Leadership Program at Edgewood College.

The event includes live music from the Antoine Chambers Band, a Madison-based jazz trio, as well as presentations from current and former students of the program. The event includes a silent auction, build your own goodie bag, and a special art exhibit showcasing sustainable wood presented by Sustainable Atwood, a non-profit organization based on Madison’s near east side. Guests will enjoy complimentary coffee and appetizers.

The celebration takes place from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Sunday, April 22, 2012. The Redamté Coffee House is located at 449 State St. (Upper Level) in downtown Madison.

The Sustainability Leadership Graduate Certificate Program at Edgewood College is ideal for adult professionals who seek to make an impact in their current work environment or community.
