Edgewood College Hosts Celebrated Couple for Two Nights of Art, Prose

Notes: Inspired by their home in a remote Montana valley and travels elsewhere, Rick and Elizabeth Bass bring their work to Madison for a very special weekend.
A reception for artist Elizabeth Bass is planned for Madison’s Gallery Night from 5:00 – 9:00 pm in the DeRicci Gallery on the campus of Edgewood College. An exhibition of Elizabeth Bass’ recent paintings, Encounters, is on exhibit in the Gallery through Friday evening May 4.
Acclaimed writer and environmental activist Rick Bass will offer his public reading at 7:30 pm, Saturday May 5, in the Anderson Auditorium at Edgewood College.
Both events are free and open to the public. This special weekend is presented in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Creative Writing Program, and Monsters of Poetry.
