“I never thought I would be able to pursue a graduate degree.  I work full time and have a 16 month old little girl. My undergraduate experience at a major university was painful, to say the least, with little personalized attention and a lot of being lectured to.

My first experiences with my Edgewood College advisor and online course instructor have absolutely exceeded my expectations. They have provided me with more personalized, caring attention than I received in my entire 4 years as an undergraduate.

The coursework is EXTREMELY flexible.  I am able to go to my full time job, come home and be with my daughter, and then do schoolwork most nights after she is in bed.  The amount of work required is manageable, even with my already busy lifestyle.

I absolutely love Edgewood College, and am so thankful for a program that allows me to fulfill other commitments, but still take part in a rigorous curriculum without having to sacrifice my time as a mom or an employee.”

"As an Emergency Medical Services instructor and field training officer, the knowledge that I gained in Edgewood's Master of Arts in Adult Learning Program has proved invaluable. With an even split between practical skills and theoretical learning, this program prepares students to make the best use of their time in the classroom and to understand how to teach adult learners.  Anyone looking to advance their skills in adult instruction would benefit greatly from this program."

Jeff Matcha -  EMS Field Training Officer

"The Adult Learning program at Edgewood College has given me the opportunity to reflect upon and strengthen my practice with adult learning.  Through collaborative learning with faculty and my peers, I have gained new tools, frameworks, and knowledge that I can effectively apply to my workplace, community organizations, and the classroom."
