Adult Learning Program Highlights

The Master of Arts in Education Adult Learning program curriculum is designed to meet the needs of working professionals and provides a flexible part-time schedule. You can finish in as little as two years, or spread coursework across multiple semesters to accommodate your personal schedule and needs. 

Courses are offered in an accelerated format. A new course begins every 7 weeks, 6 sessions per year.

The program uses a cohort-based format limited to small groups of no more than 30 students. Students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, creating a rich and diverse community of learners who support each other in both intellectual and personal growth.

Classes are highly interactive with appropriate combinations of presentations, discussions, case studies, and group/individual projects. Experiential learning is emphasized and every opportunity is made for students to share their knowledge with one another. The curriculum is designed with a core of Institutional and Education courses that are integrated across disciplines to cultivate creative, intellectually engaged, and ethical educational leaders.
