We are very pleased to announce The School of Business 2012 – 2013 Graduate Scholarship Awards. We are now accepting applications and you are encouraged to apply. Scholarship awards start at $1,000 and are applied to spring semester tuition. Scholarships are presented at the Distinguished Alumni Awards event on November 9, 2012. Please complete the scholarship application form and email it to aveidt@edgewood.edu, or submit it to the School of Business.

The School of Business at Edgewood College hosted a very special Smith & Gesteland Executive Speaker Series event, “Healthcare Reform: It’s Your Business.” Peter Christman - Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, UW Medical Foundation; Lon Sprecher - President and CEO, Dean Health Plan; Dave Rakel - Associate Professor and Director, UW Integrative Medicine Program; and Londa Dewey - President, QTI, discussed the impact and implications of healthcare reform on businesses and organization in Greater Madison.

The business world has an important role to play in creating flourishing communities. In recognition of this responsibility, the School of Business has added the Sustainability Leadership Graduate Certificate as a new concentration in the MBA program. MBA students can earn a Concentration in this emerging field of study. Or, recipients of the Certificate may apply earned credit toward the MBA degree as qualifying electives. Taking the GMAT is no longer required for MBA applicants who have completed an undergraduate business degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above from Edgewood College within the past 5 years.
