The Graduate Certificate in Project Management prepares current and future executives to make and implement good project decisions. In addition to current and aspiring business leaders, administrators and project managers, the program also serves business analysts, developers and project team members in insurance, healthcare, government and many other business sectors.
The Certificate program design is aligned with the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Book of Knowledge (PMBOK). Courses are in compliance with ACBSP accreditation standards that assure a high quality program. Graduate Certificate credits may be applied toward the MBA should the student later decide to pursue that degree. In addition, a non-credit “Math Prep” course is available for students requiring additional assistance in applied math, statistics and calculus.
To earn the Project Management Graduate Certificate students will complete at least 15 credits from the courses listed below. The choice of courses allows you to select a focus in a specific area of Project Management. Some courses are not offered in every semester. You will work with an advisor in the School of Business to create an individualized plan that will complete the certificate and the focus you select.
