Daniel A. Schroeder, Ph.D.

Dr. Daniel A. Schroeder serves as Coordinator of the Organizational Behavior and Leadership program at Edgewood College. He is also President of Organization Development Consultants, Inc. (ODC), a management consulting firm offering performance consulting for individuals, teams, and organizations.

Dr. Schroeder possesses over twenty years of diverse professional experience. Prior to co founding ODC in 1994, he worked as a management consultant, initially for a Chicago based firm and later for one situated in Milwaukee. For each of these groups, he completed a wide range of projects relating to employee selection and placement, training and development, productivity improvement programming, and organizational analysis/development. Prior to this external consulting work, he served as Vocational Consultant with The Traveler's Insurance Company. His career began in the public sector with a position as Chief Vocational Evaluator with a Jefferson County (Wisconsin) human services agency.

Dr. Schroeder's professional interests include organizational systems analysis, organizational behavior modification, high performance learning systems, employee motivation and job satisfaction, and employee selection and placement. An emerging area has been systemic program evaluation interventions in support of Balanced Scorecard and ROI initiatives.

Dr. Schroeder is active in numerous local and national professional associations in the areas of psychology, management, and training. An accomplished adult educator, he is listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers. In 1998, The Business Journal included him on its list of "Forty under Forty," individuals who are "making a difference in their professions and communities." Since 2005, he has served as a judge for the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau (BBB) Torch Award for Business Ethics and Integrity. Since 1995, he has been a Featured Columnist for Business Times, a business periodical with a circulation throughout southern Wisconsin and on the web.

Dr. Schroeder's earned his terminal (Psychology/Organizational Science) and bachelor’s (Psychology/Professional Business) degrees within the University of Wisconsin System. He earned his master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Western Michigan University. He is a licensed psychologist in the State of Wisconsin. He holds board certifications in organizational and business consulting psychology (OBCP) from the American Board of Professional Psychology and in psychology from the American Board of Psychological Specialties.


Trevor Nagle

Trevor Nagle posseses more than fifteen years of experience as an internal and external organizational development (OD) consultant.  He has designed and implemented training and development and change management activities for public, private, and non-profit leaders and workforces. 

Mr. Nagle has particular expertise in the development of leadership programs, multi-rater assessments, organizational culture audits, and the application of workforce engagement interventions for both internal employees and independent sales forces.  Utilizing a solid systems orientation, he focuses on providing data-driven and measurement-based olutions for clients. 

Mr. Nagle is a veteran of both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, having served as a linguist and training manager for more than a decade.  Additionally, his professional experience includes academic positions with Edgewood College (Madison, WI) and Deerfield Academy (Massachusetts), along with training and development leadership roles within medium-sized and Fortune 500 corporations.

Mr. Nagle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Political Science) from Colorado College and a Master of Public Administration degree from Troy University.  He is also completing a dissertation exploring workforce reintegration by military veterans following extended combat deployments enroute to his doctorate in psychology from Capella University.


David Gibson, Ph.D.

Dr. David Gibson is a Visiting Professor serving both the Master of Science in Organization Development and adult accelerated degree programs for Edgewood College.  Dr. Gibson has more than a decade of experience guiding organizations, teams, and individuals to improve performance as both  internal and external consultants.  Specifically, Dr. Gibson served as an organizational and leadership consultant for Right Management in south Florida and Wisconsin, as well as the head of training and organizational development for Jewish Healthcare Services Network in Louisville, Kentucky. 

Dr. Gibson’s professional and research interests include leadership coaching, leadership development, organizational culture, job satisfaction and engagement, trust, and communication. Dr. Gibson completed his Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from the University of Louisville as well as a achelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication. He also acquired a master’s degree in Communication from Western Kentucky University.   Dr. Gibson’s dissertation research focused on the effect of trust in one’s leader on job satisfaction and intent to leave the organization.
