Our Spanish and French programs offer a wide range of classes in language, culture and literature, together with extra- and co-curricular activities to enhance your learning experience in Madison's vibrant community. We also have a state-of-the-art language lab with satellite TV, internet, and language learning software to develop your communication skills.

Edgewood College also offers classes in Italian and Chinese, and with our collaborative program with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, you'll have the opportunity to study your choice of nearly 60 other languages while still enjoying the benefits of a smaller liberal arts college.

Edgewood College students are given a wide choice of programs that will enhance their liberal arts education with a global perspective. Edgewood College administers short-term and full-semester study abroad programs in a number of countries. Students may also participate in study-abroad programs through collaborative arrangements with other universities or our prestigious ISEP (International Student Exchange Program) membership.

Fine Arts Award

Fine Arts Awards ($1,000 to $2,000 per year) are available for qualified students who plan to major or minor in a foreign language. Admission to the College and an interview are required. For more information, please visit Fine Arts Award.
