Deuteronomy 4:1, 5-9. Now, Israel, hear the statutes and decrees which I am teaching you to observe, that you may live, and may enter in and take possession of the land which the God of your forebears is giving you…Take care and be earnestly on your guard not to forget the things which your own eyes have seen, nor let them slip from your memory as long as you live, but teach them to your children and to your children's children.

In the Scripture, Moses tells the Israelites to respect one another and to appreciate the land. I think that this is still very true today. Respecting others is the best way to live a life in the faith. On campus there are many ways in our daily lives that we can show our respect toward others by simple actions and gestures of kindness. Keeping our campus clean and respecting the nature around us is also important in living by the words of the reading. It is the little things we can do that will make a big difference in our lives and here on campus.
