Congratulations on choosing to become an Edgewood College Eagle! The New Student Orientation programs are designed to help you transition to Edgewood College. The programs are designed to meet the needs of new freshmen, transfer freshmen, upper class transfers, and Post Baccalaureate students.
Most of you have attended an advising and registration day (or will be soon) where you registered for your classes at Edgewood College for the fall 2013 semester. The next step in your journey as a new student is to attend New Student Orientation. Freshmen or freshmen transfer students enrolled in COR 1 will attend the freshman orientation program. Transfer students will attend the transfer student express orientation. The final step in beginning your Edgewood College journey is to begin classes on Wednesday, August 28, 2013.
During the New Student Orientation programs, you will receive personal attention regarding any concerns or questions you may have as an incoming Edgewood College student. You will also have the chance to meet future classmates, explore the campus, and learn the "ins and outs" of college life from current Edgewood College student leaders.
We would also like to extend a warm welcome to the families and loved ones of incoming Edgewood College students. We realize that college is a transition for them as well as you, and we invite all parents and families to attend the orientation program. We do have a specific session planned for family and friends of Edgewood College students while new students are in their respective sessions.
Welcome to the Edgewood College community of learners!
