A Home Away From Home at Edgewood College

I knew Edgewood College was the right choice for me as soon as I set foot on campus because it felt like “home.” This College offered me the best of both worlds with an ideal location in Madison, yet still offered all the benefits of a small school. When on my first tour, it struck me how friendly, excited, and welcoming everyone was. This tight knit community is one of the many benefits of a small campus, and it is very comforting to see familiar faces wherever you go.

It’s a ‘Beautiful Thing’ on Two Wheels

“This is my way of being able to give back, and ‘pay it forward.’ But I get just as much out of it as I put into it. It’s a beautiful thing.”

Sherri Smith, a senior from Theresa, Wis., has served fulltime for nearly twenty years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard.

Through her connections with the Military and Veterans Service Office on campus she learned about Ride to Recovery, a national organization that provides opportunities for wounded and rehabilitating veterans to get out on bicycles and heal, whether it’s physical or mental.

Pampuch Twins Appear in Sports Illustrated

The performance of two Edgewood College student-athletes has grabbed the attention of a major national publication. The October 7 edition of Sports Illustrated features Eagle sophomore twin sisters Jessie and Taylor Pampuch in the popular “Faces in the Crowd” section.
