Opportunities to Get Involved

Dan Oryall ’10 has translated his student athlete experience at Edgewood College into success professionally, and then some.  Oryall was a standout on the Eagle Cross Country and Track teams, and in 2010, he received his BS in Biochemistry.  Shortly thereafter, he began graduate study at UW-Madison to become a Physician’s Assistant.  In 2012, he began working fulltime as a General Surgery PA with Dean/St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.  Today, he competes as a triathlete. He began racing in triathlons while at the College, as a way to supplement his cross country and track training.

Edgewood College Presents 88th Annual Christmas Concerts

Celebrate the sounds of the season at the 88th annual Edgewood College Christmas concert. This yearly tradition, now expanded to two performances, features the Edgewood College choirs and Concert Band, along with audience sing-alongs, prelude music by the Guitar Ensemble, and a post-concert reception featuring the Jazz Ensemble.

Student Named ‘Young Philanthropist of the Year’

Madison, Wis. (November 13, 2015) – Alex Haunty, a student at Edgewood College, has been named the ‘Young Philanthropist of the Year’ by the Madison chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Haunty was honored at today’s National Philanthropy Day luncheon at the Overture Center in Madison.

Edgewood College Joins ‘Greenlight’ Veterans Effort

Madison, Wis. (November 11, 2015) – Edgewood College has joined a national effort to ‘Greenlight a Vet’ by placing a green light in one of the exterior fixtures on campus. The fixture, which is next to the College parking shuttle stop, will remain a green light at least through the end of the semester.
