The Henry Predolin School of Nursing at Edgewood College and Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin invite you to a special event.
As health care consumers and health care workers, we are acutely aware of the problems in our healthcare system and the need for things to change. The complexity and enormity of the myriad of issues that face us in changing the system and changing ourselves can often paralyze us from taking any action. Often we are left feeling immobile, inefficient and frustrated.
This summit will offer simple, practical and innovative strategies that each of us can adapt to our personal and work lives to transform ourselves and our relationship to the healthcare system. We want to believe the saying of anthropologist Margaret Mead’s, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Our hope is as we become healthier and change ourselves, the systems surrounding us may also mirror those changes.
The summit will take place at Edgewood College. Advanced registration is encouraged and food will be provided. The Innovation in Healthcare Summit is made possible by the Primary Care Innovation Grant generously awarded by Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin.
Registration is required for this free event, which is open to the public.
