Students who receive the Ethnic Studies scholarship are expected to meet the following criteria in order to maintain the scholarship:
1. Enroll in at least one Ethnic Studies course each semester during your first academic year and at least one Ethnic Studies course per academic year thereafter. ETHS 201 is recommended for the first year.
2. Declare a major or minor in Ethnic Studies by the end of the first semester of the sophomore year.
3. Maintain a minimum Ethnic Studies course grade point average of 3.0.
4. Maintain active membership in the Ethnic Studies Association and participate in at least one event sponsored by the Center for Multicultural Education and Ethnic Studies each semester.
