The Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) offers students from traditionally underserved populations and underrepresented groups at Edgewood College, academic and personal support in order to excel in a collegiate setting. The Center serves as a resource hub to engage effectively with others, to establish healthy relationships and to reflect and act on matters of social justice, power and privilege.
The Center works closely with and advises the Asian Student Association (ASA), Association of Latin@ Students (ALaS), the Black Student Union (BSU), and the Multicultural Men's & Women's Groups! Additionally, the CDI is a great place to just hang out. You have access to a nice comfortable space, computers, TV, microwave, resources, and great conversations.
We welcome students from all social identities to engage in dialogue and action to promote a just and compassionate world and the understanding and appreciation of diverse cultural heritages.
We also offer rich programming throughout the academic year that honors current and past struggles. Please feel free to explore this site to learn more about some of the staple programs we offer and how you can connect your learning, beliefs, and actions.
