I chose Edgewood College’s
Organizational Behavior and Leadership major because of its strong reputation
for producing top-notch managers and leaders. While in the program I learned
how to apply a variety of tools and techniques for improving the performance
of individuals, teams, and organizations. I have found the knowledge that
I acquired in this program to be invaluable in my position as an Operations
Manager. In addition, I feel that the outstanding professors enhanced my success
in this program. They went far beyond what they had to do to ensure that every
student reached their full potential. I am successful in my career because of
the strong foundation I received in this program. - Connie Thompson Operations Manager, Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center Bachelors in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, 2005 |
Why Choose Edgewood College?
Edgewood College was the first educational institution in Madison to offer an adult-oriented degree program. Our faculty are recognized for their ability to create classroom environments that mirror professional work settings. Our students call our classes challenging, inspiring, and - most of all - interactive. The skills you’ll learn can immediately be put to use in your current profession.
At Edgewood College you’ll be more than just a number to us. Our class sizes are small and you’ll get the individualized instruction and guidance you need to succeed.
Classes typically meet only one night a week. Our adult courses are just 7 weeks long and run year-round. There are 6 terms in a calendar year with a week-long break between terms. This innovative and flexible format allows you to begin classes when you choose. You can start and stop at your convenience, selecting the best time of year to complete your studies. Check out the 2009-2010 calendar to find out when the next term begins.
All adult accelerated degree classes are held at our Deming Way Campus, conveniently located on Madison’s West Side.
At Edgewood College, we recognize that not all learning takes place within a classroom. Our Credit for Prior Learning Program is designed to help students earn credit for knowledge and skills learned through life and work experience. If you qualify, you’ll have a head start in completing your degree even faster.

I'm excited to be working with the
adult learners who attend Edgewood's Adult Accelerated Degree program. The interactive exchanges that we have
are fueled by their willingness to share their experiences and insights. The classroom
is a collaborative environment in which we explore how to translate frameworks and models
into results-oriented strategies. - Dan Schroeder Organizational Behavior and Leadership Coordinator |
