The Master of Arts in Education Adult Learning concentration prepares graduates to develop and deliver programs that serve the unique educational needs of adult learners in community-based organizations, schools, community colleges and businesses. Adult and professional learning is one of the most positive influences in workforce and educational effectiveness. Graduates of the program have chosen a path to vital lifelong learning, career and promotion, vocational aspirations, and building ethical and civically engaged communities.

Courses in the Adult Learning program have been officially approved by the Wisconsin Technical College System to meet the certification and competency requirements needed for the certification of instructors and other WTCS staff. The degree would also benefit training specialists who work in business, government or nonprofit organizations.
Completion of the Master of Arts in Education Adult Learning degree requires a total of 33 credit hours and can be accomplished in two years. To accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals, the majority of the coursework is offered in an online format.
