Master of Arts in Education/Professional Studies

The Masters of Arts in Education: Professional Studies degree at Edgewood College provides exceptional versatility for students interested in education who are not seeking teaching and administrative licensure. There are five Professional Studies degree specializations:

General Professional Development  for students interested in non-licensure programs focusing on K-12 teaching and learning or who are pursuing education-related professional goals in non-profit organizations or community agencies

English as a Second Language (ESL)/Bilingual Education  for students interested in non-licensure ESL and bilingual education programs    

K-12 Educational Leadership  for students interested in non-licensure K-12 educational leadership programs          

Cross-categorical Special Education  for students interested in non-licensure special education programs.

Sustainability Leadership  for students interested in a non-licensure education program focusing on Sustainability Leadership.

A Program Designed for Working Adults

  • Courses are offered on evenings and weekends to accommodate busy schedules.
  • Take one class, two classes or three classes. Begin in the fall, spring, or summer. It’s up to you!
  • Students’ previous academic and experiential accomplishments are highly valued and often result in more timely completion of the program.
