Edgewood Launches Master's in Sustainability Leadership

Beginning in 2014, Edgewood College will offer a new Master of Arts in Sustainability Leadership in addition to its on-going SL graduate certificate. This is the first face-to-face master's degree in Sustainability Leadership in the nation and it reflects Edgewood's commitment to innovative, values-driven, and community-focused education. This new master's builds upon the foundation provided by Edgewood's successful Sustainability Leadership Graduate Certificate Program, providing additional depth while allowing appropriate flexibility to meet diverse student needs. The cohort-based SL certificate will remain as a stand-alone option and as the foundational core of the expanded and optional Master of Arts. January 2014

Badger Bioneers of 2013

Badger Bioneers 2013The dedication, commitment, hear and intelligence that Kathryne Auerback and Jim Lorman have invested into the development and evolution of the Edgewood College Sustainability Leadership Program were celebrated when they were named Badger Bioneers for 2013. Every autumn, Sustain Dane recognized the accomplishments of local thinkers and doers who are working toward sustainable change in the Madison area and beyond with these awards. Jim and Kathryne are pictured here with Jessie Lerner, Executive Director of Sustain Dane and member of SLP's Advisory Board. Congratulations to Kathryne and Jim on this well-deserved recognition!
