As a Foreign Language major at Edgewood College you will be immersed in the exploration of our world and its languages. This program opens doors to the future through the ability to speak, read, write and understand other languages as a way to be able to understand the people and culture of other countries. These are important skills that are needed in order to function in the global environment.
A degree in Foreign Language presents options in many areas in the workforce including possibilities in international business, international relations, finance and commerce, education, mass communications, service industries, health care, government, tourism, interpreting and translation, and many other areas. Some students choose to combine a Foreign Language major with other areas.
