Hall of Fame Nomination Form

Purpose
To recognize and honor individuals who have made significant contributions to Edgewood College Athletics.

Categories for nomination

Student Athletes:

Must have excelled in intercollegiate athletics while at Edgewood College as well as have outstanding accomplishments in athletics after college.
Must have completed their eligibility in good standing.
Must be an alumnus/na of at least 5 years.
Must demonstrate the mission of Edgewood College.

Coaches: Eddy the Eagle

Must have made an outstanding contribution to athletics as a Coach, or Athletic Director at Edgewood College and beyond.
Must be retired from/left Edgewood College for at least 3 years.
Must demonstrate the mission of Edgewood College.

Teams:

Must have made significant achievements at the conference and/or national level.
Must be out for at least 5 years.
Must have embodied the mission of Edgewood College.

Support/Community members:

Must have made outstanding contributions to Edgewood College Athletics.
Must demonstrate the mission of Edgewood College.

Basis for selection

Individual performance in athletics (school records set, All Conference selection, All-American selection.).
Outstanding AAU, Olympic amateur, or professional participation.
Outstanding Individual contribution to the world of sports other than competition.
A distinguished record as Coach, Athletic Director, or participant following completion of his/her career at Edgewood College.
Outstanding service in the form of time, talent, or treasure in support of Edgewood College Athletics.

Nominations can come from Edgewood College alumni, students, faculty, staff, coaches, parents of alumni and booster club members. Nominations will be reviewed bi-annually. Nominations will be reviewed by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee and final selections will be made by current Hall of Fame members
