Alumni Volunteer Organization (AVO)
As the new Alumni Director I am proud to be one of your connections to Edgewood College and
excited to work with and meet alumni in any capacity. My focus will be to offer events and programs
that would encourage all alumni to become engaged.
But, not only am I interested in planning events, but also in keeping relationships strong and engaging all interested alumni as often as possible. There are many opportunities where there is need to utilize our alumni as volunteers, and in so doing, reconnect you with the College and your fellow alumni.
Our newly formed Alumni Volunteer Organization (AVO) wants to utilize your time, talent and dedication to Edgewood College when it is convenient for you. Areas would include:
- Volunteering at an event (i.e. golf outings, graduation fair, Emerald Club Luncheon…)
- Phone calls to “admitted” students in conjunction with our Admissions Office
- Mock interviewing for seniors with Career Placement
Opportunities are not limited to Madison residents either. Out of state alumni can be just as involved through various programs. Our possibilities are endless if I know you are interested in being connected in a volunteer commitment.
Whether it is staffing a reception table at a golf outing, greeting students during move in weekend, or calling potential future students, I would love to work with you. If you would like to get involved, click here to sign up and receive information.
