Alumni at Winterfrost '08
This winter has brought many weather related challenges to the Edgewood College community. The College had to close early twice and also cancelled an entire day of classes in early February. We are, no doubt, anxious for an early spring.

Weather aside, we still enjoy a very active campus and second semester activities are in full swing. The Office of Student Activities and CAB hosted a great Winterfrost ‘08 dance, a night at the Bucks game in Milwaukee, skiing at Christmas Mountain, a “Night of Fame” featuring student talent, plus our students attend numerous Men’s and Women’s athletic events. I am always impressed to see so much involvement from our student body and planning committees.

We celebrate Easter Sunday on March 23rd. Please know we wish all of you a very blessed Easter Season and pray for safe travels for all during Spring Break.

Commencement Lenten Reflections
In the Christian tradition, the season of Lent is a time of soul searching and repentance - a time for reflection while taking stock of one’s life in preparation for the Easter celebration of the risen Christ. The Edgewood College Community has contributed to a collection of Lenten Reflections to serve as a guide and point of inspiration for you during this year’s observation of Lent. Read the Lenten Reflections.

Public Enemies!
Congratulations to our Career Services Department and to the 12 Edgewood College students chosen as interns for the new Johnny Depp film, Public Enemies!, which will be filming near Madison, WI.
The students are working for the Joan Philo Casting Company and will have an inside view on how major motion pictures get produced. They are already busy at work and are traveling to Chicago and Milwaukee to work on casting calls. The word from Joan is that these are some of the best interns they have had to date. Our students ROCK!
Joan Philo also mentioned how responsive the College’s Career Services Office was to their immediate need for interns (Hollywood works at a very fast pace)! Apparently the school down the street (not to mention any names) responded so slowly that Joan turned here instead. Career Services immediately had an onsite interview location and numerous students with resume in hand ready to interview in roughly 24 hours! Yahoo for Edgewood College!
