Outlook Web Access
Edgewood College provides students, faculty and staff to access their email
anywhere in the world using the Internet and a standard web browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer).
To access your email, you must have an Edgewood username and password. If you have questions about your
username or password, please contact the Technology Assistance Center
at (608) 663-6900.
Training sessions on Outlook Web Access (OWA), the web-based Edgewood student email system,
are held for new and transfer students in the beginning of the fall semester.
For a copy of the Outlook on the Web help booklet, please stop by the
Technology Assistance Center on the first floor of the Oscar
Rennebohm Library. Or, you can download a PDF version below:
Obtaining an Email Account
During initial registration, each student is automatically assigned an Edgewood email account.
Information about accessing this account is distributed to you during campus orientation sessions
(for new students) or can be picked up at the Technology Assistance Center, located on the main floor
of the Library. If you do not receive your account information within the first week of classes, stop by the
Technology Assistance Center and fill out an application.
How to check your Email using OWA
Using a web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, go to the
following address: https://email.edgewood.edu/exchange.
You'll need your campus network logon username and password to access your account (note: you may need
to include "edge\" before your username). After entering your account information, OWA will lead you to your
inbox, where your new messages are stored.
If you do not know your username/password or are having problems, please contact the
Technology Assistance Center at (608) 663-6900.
How to Change your Password
If you would like to change your password, you must be on-campus, using one of the school's computers.
When you are logged onto a campus computer, press the Ctrl, Alt and Delete keys at the same time. A
"Change Password" option will be displayed in the window that appears. You may change your email password here.
Note that your password for logging onto campus computers will also be changed by this, but it will not
change your Blackboard password or EdgeReg password.
Microsoft Outlook
Edgewood College provides all faculty and staff with Microsoft Outlook on their office computers.
Outlook allows you to manage your email messages, contacts, tasks, and appointments all from one place. You
can also use Outlook to schedule meetings with other campus faculty/staff, filter email messages, and
much more.
Alumni Email
All Edgewood College graduates have the option of receiving a life-time email account
through Edgewood College. If you are an alum who graduated after May ’03 & previously had an
Edgewood email account, you do not need to request an alumni account. Your Edgewood email account
is still active. This is considered your lifetime alumni account. If you have forgotten your username
and/or password, please contact the
Technology Assistance Center.
For alumni who have not previously had an Edgewood email account, you can request your alumni account by filling out the
Alumni Email Request Form. You will be
contacted via mail when the account has been created. Allow two weeks for account processing. Also, please
note that your username may not be the same as the username you held as a student. All students graduating
after May '03 have automatically been set-up with a lifetime account and do not need to fill out the Alumni
Email Request Form. Your account is still active. For more information or questions, please contact the
Technology Assistance Center.
