Siena Lecture
In our historic and enduring pursuit of truth and justice, Edgewood
College draws upon the rich tradition and treasures of the Order
of Preachers. One such treasure is Doctor of the Church Catherine of
Siena whose prophetic and public leadership provides both a model and a
message of enduring significance for contemporary life.
Edgewood College’s Annual Siena Lecture is designed to foster, promote,
and celebrate Dominican Catholic Intellectual tradition reflected in the
scholarship and action of Catherine of Siena. The lectures will explore
how Catholic principles can inform issues facing contemporary society.
