Job Description:
Administrative Assistant provides high-quality and timely assistance with
the administrative functions within the Computer and Information Services Department. Uses
"Best Practice” methods as defined by College policies and industry standards in pursuit of
the improvement of our academic environment.
Assisting the staff of the Computer and Information Services Department with administrative functions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Must be able to process confidential information in a professional manner
- Work with management in the documentation of policies, procedures and database information
- Must be able to work some flexible hours to accommodate varying workload as requested by the Supervisors
- Assist with the overall activities of the CIS Department as requested by the Supervisors
Skills Needed:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Strong writing and phone skills
- Pleasant personality and ability to relate to many types of people
- Ability to learn independently and grow in a dynamically changing environment
- Must posses a strong customer service attitude
Job Description:
Web Development Assistant, Advanced provides high quality and timely
support for web technologies in use by the Faculty, Staff and Students at Edgewood College.
Uses “Best Practice” methods as defined by College policies and industry standards in pursuit
of the improvement of our web-based resources.
- Assist with maintenance of current web resources.
- Integrating new web technologies into existing web structure.
- Must be able to process confidential information in a professional manner
- Work with management in the documentation of policies, procedures and database information
- Must be able to work some flexible hours to accommodate varying workload as requested by the Supervisors
- Assist with the overall activities of the CIS Department as requested by the Supervisors
Skills Needed:
- Experience with Windows
- Experience with current web development technologies
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Access and/or MS-SQL helpful
- Pleasant personality and ability to relate to many types of people
- Ability to learn independently and grow in a dynamically changing environment
- Must posses a strong customer service attitude
