Dishwasher

  • Maintain a high level of sanitation and safety.
  • Maintain clean working environment.
  • Check dishes to ensure cleanliness (Check for food particles stuck on glasses and bowls)
  • Wash glasses twice (This is very important).
  • Put all dishes away in proper order.
  • At the end of the shift, restock all dishes.
  • Use garbage disposal for food products only (No bones, paper, plastic, foil, straws, napkins, etc.).
  • Inform Chef or Manager if any equipment is not working properly.
  • Break down boxes periodically and place in cardboard bin.
  • Mop up any standing water in the mop room.
  • Put away mop and mop bucket properly.
  • Be ready to take on extra duties, i.e. weekly cleaning list.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Customer service orientation and skills.
  • Ability to be helpful, but quick.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
