Join a dynamic team with a unique approach to health and
literacy education for Madison’s low-income population! Our program will introduce
basic nutrition and health education to families in a way that is fun, interactive
and culturally sensitive. This summer, the program will add an outdoor dimension,
being based in a Madison community garden. Participants are largely families
with children under age 10.
- Support program team in the planning and implementation of literacy and health / nutrition education for children ages birth - 10.
- Help transport and set up the program activities.
- Work as a team with teachers and volunteers.
- In addition to the children’s program support, the position may provide
general support within all program components: Parent group, family music
& movement activity, and the family meal.
