Elaine Beaubien, Business Professor
“When I started teaching here at Edgewood College 27 years ago, the wonderful
Sisters who hired me made it very clear that community, partnership, truth, justice
and compassion were not just Dominican values, but core values we can all share.
I believe that. And I want it to continue beyond my tenure here. It’s one reason I give
to the Annual Fund.
When I give to the College, I give back a small portion of what I have received. Not just a job. Not just a professional home. Not just an opportunity to serve. When I reflect on what Edgewood College has given me over the years, in all the phases a life goes through in nearly three decades, they have given me true community.
If I can draw on one of the fundamental concepts of my discipline (business), a contribution to the College is an excellent investment in our future. It shows our trust and support in a very tangible way.“
