Ways to Make a Gift

There are many ways which you can give to Edgewood College. The following pages will help you determine which method is best for you. To learn more about any, click on one of the words or phrases listed.

• Online
  Make a gift online using your MasterCard or Visa credit or debit card. Your information will be encrypted, secure, and processed promptly.
  
  
• Cash or Checks
  Making a gift with cash or check is a common way people make their gift to Edgewood College. However, we recommend that you do not send cash in the mail.  Mail your check, payable to Edgewood College, to:

• Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)
  You may have any amount automatically deducted from your checking or savings account monthly. Just like electronic banking, your contribution is automatically transferred. This makes your giving to Edgewood College easier and more manageable.  For more information, click on Electronic Fund Transfer page. 
   
• Gifts In-Kind
  A donor might consider a gift-in-kind, for example: artwork, books, furnishings or equipment, provided they comply with the policy of the College. For more information, click on Gifts In-Kind page.
   
• Matching Gifts
  Another way an alumni or spouse can increase their gift impact is to take advantage of a company’s matching gift program. Many companies match household giving, sometimes one to one or two to one. Contact your company’s Personnel or Human Resources department to find out if your company has a Corporate Matching Gift program and to get the appropriate forms if it does.  For more information or questions, please contact your Human Resources Department.
   
• Memorial Gifts
  Memorial gifts provide you with the opportunity to recognize those who have made an impact on your life. This type of gift is a sincere way to celebrate the life and accomplishments of a relative, friend, teacher or student. Edgewood College offers a number of pooled funds that pay tribute to people with special ties to the institution.  For more information, click on Memorial Gifts page.
   
• Payroll Deduction for Edgewood College Employees
  If you are an Edgewood College employee, you can give back to the College conveniently and easily through payroll deduction.  To donate through payroll deduction, please fill out and submit the I'm Interested in Payroll Deduction form. Once submitted, Karen Andro will contact you on paperwork for the Business Office.
   
• Planned Giving
  Planned gifts can be arranged through a will, trust or insurance. Donors can avoid capital gains tax by the effective use of charitable gifts, while receiving a deduction for the fair market value of the contribution on the date the gift is made. 
   
• Stocks and Securities
  Gifts of stocks and bonds can offer special charitable opportunities for donors.  For more information, contact Karen Andro.
