Edgewood conveniently, comfortably meeting demand for accelerated degrees

MADISON, Wis. (August 24, 2005) -- Busy professionals are taking advantage of Edgewood College’s expanded adult accelerated degree programs now located at the newly acquired Deming Way campus (click here). Recent numbers indicate enrollment in the accelerated Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program has more than doubled since its initial offering in 2002 while the college has also added a Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), set to start August 29.

In addition to offering adult students age 25 or older customized convenience and flexibility – accelerated classes are four-hour blocks, one evening a week, for seven weeks – Edgewood has dedicated vital resources to the Deming Way campus to ensure students receive the same personable, quality education. These resources include the relocation of several faculty and administrative staff, improvements in technology, and facility renovations.

Located at 1255 Deming Way on Madison's west side, the new campus site boasts a high-level corporate environment, with comfortable chairs and tables and easily reconfigurable classrooms. Rooms are furnished with state-of-the-art technology and students are able to go wireless with their own laptops. Students can reserve conference rooms for group projects or work in an open, loft-style study space.

Amenities aside, services that are not available on-site are available online. Also, students are still warmly encouraged to visit the Monroe Street campus and attend college events.
