Madison, Wis. (February 21, 2007)- Edgewood College will host a daylong conference
on Wisconsin’s correctional future Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the College.
“Community Safety: One Size Does Not Fit All” will bring together district attorneys,
judges, law enforcement officials, academics and concerned citizens.
Panelists and guests include Wisconsin Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson, Milwaukee
County District Attorney John Chisholm, Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk and University
of Wisconsin-Madison Professor Walter Dickey. Keynote speakers
include corrections expert Kevin Pranis, and Mark Mauer, Director of The Sentencing Project.
There will be limited availability of conference registration on the day of the
conference, for a fee of $10.
Sponsors of this forum, which takes place from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, include the Edgewood
