Edgewood College Associate Professor Invited to Join Mayor’s Committee
Red Line

Madison, Wis. (May 15, 2007) – Edgewood College associate professor Dr. Moses Altsech has accepted an invitation by City of Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz to join the Mayor’s Community Advisory Committee (MCAC). Officials with the Mayor’s office said Mr. Cieslewicz created the MCAC in 2003 to reflect and promote the various voices of Madison communities, and to look for ways to help remove barriers that may stand in the way of creating a better community for all Madison citizens.

Specifically, the committee is charged with developing ideas and specific endeavors that open up communities, promote small business start-up and growth, and communicate effectively with the public.
