Edgewood College is authorized to issue the required Certificate of Eligibility for Admission (I-20 Form) necessary to obtain a student visa. All international students must complete and forward all necessary application documents to the Office of Admissions.

Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. All application materials must be received by the appropriate deadline.

Fall Term Deadline: June 1
Spring Term Deadline: November 15

To be considered for admission, please submit:

  1. The Edgewood College Undergraduate Application for Admission.

  2. An application fee of twenty-five US dollars ($25.00) to cover the processing of credentials. This fee is non-refundable.

  3. The Education Background Profile completed in full.

  4. Original copies of all diplomas, certificates, grade reports and test results received upon completion of high school.

These credentials must include a list of subjects studied, the number of hours per week spent on each subject, the minimum passing grade and the maximum possible grade in each subject, and any grade earned through examination.

If these credentials are not in English, an authorized English translation is required.

  5. If you have completed any college-level work, you are required to present any transcripts, certificates, or diplomas pertaining to this work.

To receive transfer credit from international institutions, students must submit an evaluation of credits from an approved international credential evaluator. Please request a detailed "course-by-course" evaluation from Educational Credential Evaluators. (www.ece.org)

  6. Proof of English proficiency (for applicants whose primary language is not English).

Applicants must prove English proficiency by submitting one of the following documents:
    • TOEFL test with a computer-based score of 197 or internet-based score of 72 (For more information visit www.toefl.org)
    • Letter of recommendation from an approved ESL instructor (such as WESLI or MESLS).
    • A transcript demonstrating successful completion of 1 year of college-level work in English.
  1. Proof of financial support for the duration of study at Edgewood College.

Students must demonstrate the ability to pay at least $31,800 USD per year. The first year's documentation must be in cash or cash equivalent.

As Edgewood College only has a few scholarships and on-campus employment opportunities for international students, it is necessary that each student evaluates the cost of studying at Edgewood and is prepared to finance it totally.

Proof of financial support for the duration of study at Edgewood College must be on file in the Admissions Office in order to be issued an I-20. Tuition and fees for each term must be paid in full on the day of registration for that term.
