Kelsey Steinhorst

Short Personal Bio: I like to stay busy and keep myself active, on campus as well as in the community and in my own free time. I am a tennis player here at Edgewood College and I love all sports and anything active. In addition to sports, I love fishing, reading, food, and animals, especially my cat Bella. I am pursuing a career in physical therapy after I get my undergraduate degree in biology. To prepare for this, I have volunteered for the past two years at different rehabilitation sites through the UW Hospital. This is my last year at Edgewood College. Although I am sad to leave it behind, I will always value the experiences I had and relationships I formed here as I move forward to the next step of my education.

What do you love about being a student at Edgewood College?
I love being a student at Edgewood College because you really feel like an important person and member of the “Edgewood community” as opposed to just a number or a face. People here get to know you, your interests and areas of study. They truly care if you excel and do whatever they can to help and get to know you. Your class sizes are small and make learning a very easy and personal experience. Also, being at Edgewood still allows you to get all the fun and excitement out of the great city of Madison as well. If you want, you can walk downtown and experience the bigger city life of the UW-Madison campus.
