Short Personal Bio: I grew up in Milton, WI always playing soccer and dancing 24/7. I have always been active in sports and when I came to Edgewood, I joined the dance team my freshman year. Some of my favorite things to do are traveling, dancing/singing, watching I Love Lucy and spending time with my friends. I am currently working as a CNA in a nursing home where my grandparents live and I absolutely love it. Nursing is definitely my passion but after college I hope you get my doctorate and maybe be a Nurse Midwife or even a Physician’s Assistant.
What do you love about being a student at Edgewood College?
I love being a student at Edgewood because there are so many friendly staff,
faculty and students on campus. My favorite thing about Edgewood is how small
the classes are. It’s great having one-on-one time with the professor and if you
ever need any help you can get a tutor or go to the writing center. I also love
Edgewood because it’s a small school within a big city.
Why do you love living in Madison (favorite thing to do)?
I love living in Madison because there is ALWAYS something to do. Edgewood is right
down the road from Camp Randall, which makes Badger games really fun. You’re also
in walking distance to the Madison Zoo and you’re also able to kayak/canoe on Lake
Wingra.
Favorite class…why?
My favorite class so far would probably have to be Anatomy and Physiology. I
had a wonderful professor and I loved all the different dissections we got to
do. This year I am starting my nursing clinical, which I am really excited
about because I will be in the hospital practicing all my nursing skills.
