Short Personal Bio: I was a freshmen in 2008/09 year. I play soccer on the Edgewood College soccer team, defense. I plan on majoring with a double major of Business Computer Information Systems. I currently hold a job as supervisor of the technology help desk at Edgewood and also work in the Geek Squad at Best Buy. I’m outgoing and very personable. On tours of Edgewood I want to show you everything that I can possible so that you feel like you can make an educated decision on the College that is right for you.
What do you love about being a student at Edgewood College
I like the opportunities that I have been given here at Edgewood. I have been able
to fit in and do everything that I wanted to do and get from my college.
Why do you love living in Madison (favorite thing to do)
It is great living in Madison. My whole life I haven’t lived far from, but just
being downtown is great. I am able to go to state street really easy and meet up
with friends who went to Madison when I want to.
Favorite residence hall…why
Well so far my favorite residence hall is Stevie. It is great being
around all of the freshmen, I had great roommates and suitemates and it’s coed!!
Favorite part of tour
My favorite part of the tours is really everything now that I give them, but when
I went on my first tour my favorite part was probably getting a good look at all of
the dorms, especially when students are living in them so that I get an idea of what
I need and what it is like to live here.
Favorite class…why
My favorite classes were my forum class, and my computer sciences courses. I like
finally being able to take classes that I want to take and that I find interesting
verses high school.
How has Edgewood College prepared you for the “real world”
There are so many opportunities that Edgewood has given me, in the short time that
I’ve been here. One of the best for the future is that I would like to be a manager
in a technology department some day and I have now been given the supervisor role
for the help desk in the technology department to better prepare me. The opportunities
just keep presenting themselves.
Advice you would give a prospective student during their college search, based on your experience
Make sure to find a college that feels right to you. That can be tough, but what kind
of environment did you feel when you were there? Did you feel like you got along with
everyone you met? Did they offer what you are interested in? Really that’s the best
advice I can offer cause it is different for so many people just make sure that it
feels right to you!
