Internet Access from Home

Edgewood College does not provide internet service to
students, faculty and staff off-campus. However, Berbee
Information Networks invites you to connect to the Internet for a
special rate of $12.00 per month because you are a current student or
employed at Edgewood College! Stop by the Technology Assistance
Center located on the main floor of the Library and pick up an application. For more

Located in the basement of Regina Hall, the Nicolet
Computer Lab is open to students. This lab is equipped with
Windows-based computers and Macintosh computers. This lab also
has inkjet and laser printers, flatbed color scanners and
Windows-based computers with CD-ROM writers.

Edgewood College's many technological resources include email,
online class registration and personal information, private websites,
course management systems, library database resources and various
computer labs and classrooms. All of our web-based resources are
supported with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher.

Audiovisual equipment is available for faculty, staff, and student
use. Classroom use receives top priority. The Reservation
Manager at the Campus Assistance Center will reserve equipment for
room use with setup, and verify its availability. Requests should be
made 72 hours in advance to facilitate availability and set-up of
equipment. Available AV includes: TV/VCR/DVD combinations,
cassette tape recorders, vinyl record players, CD players, Camcorders,
16mm film projectors, 35mm slide projectors, overhead projectors,
speaker phones, easels laptops, digital cameras, computer projectors,

It is necessary for every new student to obtain an Edgewood college
ID Card, as soon as an ID number is assigned. The ID card will be made
at the Technology Assistance Center, located in the main floor of the Oscar Rennebohm
Library.
The ID card will be required in order to check out books and AV
equipment, access the computer labs and the residence halls. It can
also be used as a debit card for meal plans, food, copier use and
bookstore purchases. In addition, the card serves as a free Madison
Metro bus pass during the Fall and Spring semesters.
Returning students should retain their automated cards, which will
need to be renewed at the beginning of each semester, at the
Technology Assistance Center. A $5.00 fee will be charged for any ID
replacement.
