Since 1960, DeRicci Hall has served as the main administration and classroom building on the Edgewood campus. DeRicci Hall's first floor houses the College Bookstore, Mail Center and a variety of offices including the Graduate and Alumni offices.

Visitors to campus will find the Admissions Office, Financial Aid Office, Registrar's Office and the Business Office located on the second floor, as well as offices for the Academic Dean and Computing Services. The DeRicci Gallery offers a schedule of art exhibitions by regional artists and students. This crossroads space in the middle of DeRicci Hall opens onto a view of the Oscar Rennebohm Library at the opposite end of a sidewalk leading through a broad lawn where students study and play.

Also visible from the Gallery is the area that the College is restoring to an oak savannah habitat in which a Native American bird effigy mound is situated. The mound is one of fourteen located on the campus. On the third floor of DeRicci Hall are classrooms, art studios, a lecture hall, computer labs, and a language lab with a satellite link. Because Edgewood is a liberal arts college, all students are required to take courses in the arts, sciences, and foreign languages, in addition to courses toward their majors.
