Originally built in 1960 and then renovated and expanded in 1988, the
Edgedome is home to the Edgewood Eagles' NCAA III and Lake Michigan
Conference
athletic teams. The
facility has a collegiate
regulation-size
basketball court and accommodates volleyball tournaments.
The Edgedome is used for intercollegiate contests and practices,
intramurals, as well as many youth camps,
coaching clinics, and leagues all year round.
The facility is also used by many NCAA Division I teams for practice
before playing at the University of Wisconsin.
During the daytime, the Edgedome is shared with the Campus Grade School
for physical education classes. It is also used for guest speakers and
lecturers, and hosts the December graduation for the College.
The newly added conference room is utilized for many activities including
meetings, presentations, team functions, and video sessions.
