Visitor Parking

Visitors Parking SignVisitors are always welcome at Edgewood College. Here’s a few tips to help

  • Please park in the visitor spaces located in the front row of the Regina Parking Lot (next to the Predolin Humanities Building).

  • If there are no visitor spaces available, visitors may park in any available spot (except handicap, unless you have a valid handicap permit), including the College’s parking ramp. Please do not park in the High School, Campus Grade School, Sienna, Rosewood or Marshall lots. Parking in these lots will result in being ticketed or towed at the owners expense. Visit the Parking Lots page for a map of all the parking lots on campus.

  • Parking in a fire lane will result in a citation and being towed. The City of Madison Police Department enforces fire lane violations as well as the campus security department.

  • Once you've parked your car, you will need to register your vehicle with the Campus Assistance Center (CAC) located in the lobby of the Predolin Humanities Building. You'll need to tell them your vehicle make, model, color and license plate information.

  • Temporary visitor parking permits are available in advance from the individual office or department sponsoring your visit. You still need to register your vehicle with the Campus Assistance Center.

  • Parking meters - Edgewood College has added three parking meters for limited time (20 Minute maximum) parking to allow for you to transact short term business on campus. These meters are located in the Library Lot, the Regina Visitor’s Lot and DeRicci Drive. Please remember that these meters are 20 minutes maximum per vehicle (this will be monitored). Violators will be ticketed.

  • If you’re a visitor who plans to stay overnight you will need to register your vehicle with the CAC and complete an “Overnight Parking Form”. Overnight visitors will receive a Registered Overnight Guest Parking permit which you will need to place on your dash board. Overnight guests are required to park in the parking ramp.

Please note that failure to comply with Edgewood College Parking rules will result in receiving a parking ticket. If you have any further questions please contact Security at (608) 663-3285 or the Campus Assistance Center at (608) 663-4861.  You may also visit our Parking website for more information.
