Enrollment Data, CRM and Application Manager

Description of Job

The Enrollment Data, CRM and Application Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate handling and reporting of student data within the Edgewood College student information system (Jenzabar EX) and CRM.  The Enrollment Data, CRM and Application Manager must be familiar with the student information system and all aspects of the Admissions module to be able to effectively access and report information when necessary.  The person in this role may be responsible for leading projects related to data analysis and report writing. The person in this role will assist in CRM implementation and administration. Additionally, the person in this role may be responsible for coordinating and/or supervising the work of data team members and student employees.

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify queries, reports, lists, and charts using data reporting and analysis software including lnfomaker, SPSS and Excel  
  • Analyze data for use by the Enrollment Management Division
  • Manage the enrollment CRM and data entry processes; enforce data entry standards and audit existing data
  • Manage and maintain all online/electronic admissions/inquiry forms
  • Manage automated communication series including maintenance and daily procedures
  • Maintain expert knowledge of CRM and student information system (Jenzabar EX) and train staff members on system functionality and troubleshoot admissions module issues
  • Serve as admissions module manager and manage all module settings including but not limited to: permissions, user-defined fields, and data codes
  • Responsible for coordinating and /or supervising the work of the data team and student employees
  • Determine data-related technology needs and manage technology integration with the student information system (as needed)
  • Coordinate all intra and inter-office system-related projects (examples include: document imaging, data transfers and system conversions) (as needed)
  • Serve as office liaison to other data related areas such as Institutional Research and Information Technology (as needed)
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Graduate Admissions and Operations (as needed)

Job Qualifications

Necessary Education or Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree desired.
  • Supervisory skills (desired)
  • Experience working within a college or university setting (desired)

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Good  communication and  presentation  skills  with  an  ability  to  work  both  independently and collaboratively with others
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines that change rapidly
  • Ability to learn and willingness to use new software/technology
  • Ability to effectively lead staff and students
  • Ability to work with diverse populations

Required Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with data management tools (experience working with SPSS and InfoMaker a plus). This includes, but is not limited to data cleaning, merging, and analysis using SPSS and InfoMaker.
  • SQL and HTML knowledge preferred
