Enrollment Management Administrative Coordinator

DESCRIPTION OF JOB:

This dynamic position directly impacts the student experience at Edgewood College and is the first point of contact for campus visits. This position coordinates activities within the Undergraduate Admissions office such as assisting with planning and preparation for campus visitors, assisting with marketing projects and reviewing policies and procedures.  The Enrollment Management Administrative Coordinator also provides administrative support for the Vice President of Enrollment Management and the Directors of the Enrollment Management division including managing the VPEM’s calendar, tracking invoices and managing supplies.

Responsibilities

Customer Service for Undergraduate Admissions Front Desk

  • Assist in all aspects of the campus visit experiences including scheduling, pre-visit communication, greeting and hosting guests
  • Provide frontline customer support and day-to-day office operations assistance
  • Respond to or triage phone and email inquiries
  • Organize and manage the distribution of print projects
  • Assist with supervision of student employees

Administrative Support for the Enrollment Management Division

  • Manage the VPEM’s calendar and scheduling
  • Provide administrative support for the EM Division by coordinating and collaborating on processes across campus
  • Track invoices and budgets for the EM Division

Other Functions

  • Perform independent special projects
  • Serve on institutional committees such as search committees as an EM representative
  • Keep up to date with college, departmental and professional changes in the field
  • Contribute to the campus in ways that advance its mission and create a positive and inclusive environment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Necessary Education or Work Experience:

  • Associate’s degree required; additional related work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service with the ability to react to customers quickly, accurately, and compassionately
  • Higher education experience preferred
  • Preference for a bilingual candidate with the ability to write and speak in Spanish proficiently

  • Proven ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and make independent decisions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as research skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to adapt to and welcome interruptions in a positive and friendly manner

Required Technology Skills:

  • Overall Proficient skill-level in Microsoft Office, which includes: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and basic computer concepts
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software
