Inclusive Internship Project Coordinator - LTE


This is an entry-level three-year position. The primary goal of this position is to work with the Director of Career Development and the Internship and Career Development Coordinator in facilitation of a foundation gift to enhance the educational experience and financial support to students who participate in what would otherwise be an unpaid internship.  These efforts will align with the mission of Edgewood College, as well as standards of quality developed through professional, federal and state guidelines.



  • Advance ongoing employer relations to develop and grow participation in project
  • Act as liaison for project expectations and logistics with faculty and staff
  • Build student awareness of and participation in project

Processes and Procedures

  • Evaluate and track employer and student eligibility for participation
  • Develop, maintain and activate processes and procedures for employer and student registration
  • Ensure criteria during participation is being met by employers and students, including employer site visits
  • Administer/collect hours of internship and payment of stipend to students

Tracking and Assessment

  • Maintain and develop tools used to assess eligibility and participation
  • Monitor and manage the use and utilization of a tracking and assessment system
  • Collect and track information to be used in reporting participation and outcomes of project

Marketing and Event Coordination

  • Assist in optimal marketing strategy aimed at students, faculty and staff, and community to promote project on and off campus
  • Develop promotional material for project and update as needed
  • Assist in event coordination and other programming for participants of project


Necessary Education or Work Experience:

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience related to the coordination of internship and career development programming, event coordination, or another grant facilitation preferred
