Global Faculty Grants
The Global Engaged Learning Subcommittee is pleased to announce Global Faculty Development Grants, made possible by institutional funds and the generous support of the Heidi Roth Fund and the Jim and Marilyn Ebben Fund endowed by Peter and Margo Ahrens. The purpose of this funding is to incentivize faculty members’ incorporating a global dimension into their teaching by enhancing their global knowledge, skills, experience, and pedagogy. This will implement the Academic Plan’s prioritization of students’ global learning through improved curricula and academic programs and thus take global pedagogy to the next level.
Eligibility
- Undergraduate or graduate full-time faculty, not limited to tenured or tenure-track, from all Schools are eligible to apply.
- Faculty who currently have limited international background but are wanting to gain expertise are especially encouraged to apply.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously received a Global Faculty Development Grant since these awards began in spring 2015.
