Transfer Scholarships

Students admitted to Edgewood College are automatically considered for the following merit-based scholarships. No additional application is required to receive these scholarships. These scholarships are available to students who transfer to Edgewood College with 12 or more credits from an accredited institution. Continuous, full-time enrollment is required.  Amounts below have been adjusted for Fall 2016 semester.

Transfer Excellence Scholarship:  Available to students with a cumulative college GPA of   3.5-4.0 in all college coursework. The Transfer Excellence Scholarship is worth $6,000 per year.

Transfer Honor Scholarship: Available to students with a cumulative college GPA of 3.0-3.49 in all college coursework. The Transfer Honor Scholarship is worth $4,500 per year.

Transfer Achievement Scholarship: Available to students with a cumulative college GPA of 2.5-2.99 from all college coursework. The Transfer Achievement Scholarship is worth $2,000 per year.

Transfer Awards:             

Students admitted to Edgewood College are invited to apply for additional competitive merit and need-based awards. Students are selected for these awards based on their demonstrated interests and experiences.  Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is also required to be offered these awards.  Please note that applications will be reviewed as funding is available.  Limited awards are available.

 Alumni Award ($500-$1,500): Awarded to students whose parents or grandparents are Edgewood College alumni.  Apply using the link to the Edgewood College Financial Aid Application listed above.

Transfer Opportunity Award ($500–$3,000): Awarded to students who can make distinctive contributions to Edgewood College either through sharing their demonstrated leadership skills or their unique backgrounds and life experiences.  ACT scores and GPA are not considered for this award.

Predolin Scholarship ($4,000-$6,000): Awarded to high achieving students with financial need who plan to major in the areas of science, engineering, medicine, nursing or business. Apply using the link to the Edgewood College Financial Aid Application listed above.

Talent Scholarships  ($1000–$3,000): Awarded to talented students who plan to continue their participation in the areas of Art, Music, Theatre, Writing, and Foreign Languages at Edgewood College. Please visit the talent scholarship page for more information.

Transfer Partnership Award (Half Tuition for the Academic Year): Awarded to students transferring directly from Madison College or one of the University of Wisconsin 2-year colleges.  Students must have earned a cumulative 3.0 GPA and completed at least 1 fulltime semester. Available to only to students starting in the fall semester.  Deadline (fall transfers only) June 1.
