Join us for the webinar, Estate Planning 101: How to Establish and Leave a Legacy, with co-panelists Darrell Behnke and Attorney Elizabeth Heiner. This presentation is open to the public and designed for members of the Edgewood College community of friends, alumni, and supporters. This free seminar will help you understand what goes into an estate plan and gain an in-depth understanding on how to take charge – and care – of your estate planning goals during uncertain and changing times. We will cover topics including wills and trusts, powers of attorney for healthcare and finance, beneficiary designations, and charitable giving considerations.


Panelists include Darrell Behnke, Senior Vice President of Wealth Management at US Bank, and Elizabeth Heiner, Attorney at Boardman & Clark.

Darrell Behnke

Darrell Behnke is an experienced estate planner and accountant skilled at providing financial advice. He has served as Senior Vice President and Market Leader at US Bank in Madison since 1990, and earned his J.D. at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Darrell currently serves as the chair of the Board of Trustees at Edgewood College. In the greater Dane County community, Darrell has served as a board member at St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation, Rotary Club of Madison, United Way of Dane County Foundation, and Madison Symphony Orchestra.

Elizabeth Heiner
Liz Heiner

Liz Heiner focuses her practice on estate planning for individuals and families. Practicing in the area since 1992, Liz has extensive experience advising clients about wills, trusts, powers of attorney, prenuptial agreements and other wealth transfer and tax savings techniques. Liz is also experienced in assisting clients with probate and trust administration. Having served on the committees developing Wisconsin’s new trust and probate law, Liz frequently advises personal representatives and trustees regarding trust and estate administration. Liz is currently involved with United Way of Dane County Foundation (Board Member), and the Forum for Estate Planning Counselors.
