Madison, Wis. (April 30, 2013) – Edgewood College is pleased to announce two conferences this summer geared specifically for Wisconsin educators and administrators.
The first, Facilitating Educational Change, is the College’s 23rd annual conference of K-12 educators. This day-long session provides a unique opportunity to hear presenters from area schools share ideas and strategies as we respond to a changing education environment. Topics include School Accountability Systems, iPads in the Classroom, Response to Intervention Designs, Implementing the Mondo Literacy Curriculum, Safety in the Schools, and Developing Culturally Responsible Educators. This annual conference runs from 8:00 am – 3:20 pm, Friday, June 28, 2013, at Edgewood College.
In July, the College presents Administrative Leadership in a Changing Educational Environment, the second in a series of annual conferences created specifically for K-12 principals and administrators. The conference is built around one-hour seminars which participants select. Topics include Common Core Implementation, Principal/Administrator Evaluation Systems, Hiring Culturally Responsive Educators, Advertising Your School, and Implementing the State-mandated Teacher Evaluation System. This conference runs from 8:00 am – 3:20 pm, Friday, July 12, 2013, at Edgewood College.
